This beautiful J2 was first registered in September 1933 where the first owner took delivery in North London.
The car underwent a full restoration by expert Roger Thomas and has been carried out to an excellent standard.
Restoration specification included the following:
Original engine (12 444 AJ) rebuilt with steel crank and rods
Shell bearings and lubrication system modified for full flow filtration
J3 tubular manifold
New valve gear throughout and nickel steel valve seat inserts
Carburttors overhauled
Chassis frame stripped, grit blasted and re enamelled
New rear trunion tubes
Front axle straightened
New king pins, bushes, wheel bearings and stub axles fitted
Steering arms cracked tested
Brakes completely overhauled with uprated hydraulic system
All wheel cylinders replaced and brake shoes Feb 2024
Gearbox rebuilt with new bearings throughout
New steel skinned ash frame and minor panels
Original body irons, bonnet tank and wing stays retained
Radiator shell rebuilt and chromed with a new honeycomb core and header tank
Wiring loom replaced
Stayfast quality hood and tonneau cover
New brass screen with laminated glass to original spec
New engine turned dash with 'de-lux' extra instruments and camshaft driven speedo
Re trimmed in tan connolly hide and green wilton carpet
